Poreč is a town located on the western coast of Istria. It was once a Roman settlement, which is evident today in its street layout. The main attraction is the Euphrasia Basilica, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Traditionally Poreč has been connected with both land and sea so the economic activities were in line with that. But from the 19th century tourism has had an ever more impact and today it is the main source of income for the town.
With its museums, bars, restaurants, long coastline, nearby lagoons and coves it is a great choice for both families and younger groups who lake to party and lay back. Feel free to contact us if you would like to know more about Poreč.
